Some touring bands and artists book me well in advance and some quite literally the night before with no time to rehearse. Either way doesn’t matter to me because as a professional drummer I am used to it and am expected to be able to sit-in at a moments notice and to produce the goods every time.

Like any musician playing live is what I love to do the most. It is the special feeling that comes from playing from the heart and the moments of pure magic when the band ignites and unites as one.

My vast experience gained over the years has never dulled my love of playing live and whether I’m called on to perform in front of 120 to 120,000 people my feelings will always remain the same.

For any artist or band needing the urgent stand-in for the night or for a full-blown tour then I am definitely your man.

Not only do I take pride in what I do I also respect deeply those around me. To succeed in life as a professional musician is not easy, it takes courage and conviction. And above all it takes a special kind of personality that can take the highs and lows of touring and make light work of it all with total commitment and a great deal of passion
and humour.
