My studio is built on the many years of experience gained in the recording of drums, drum kits and percussion.

It is a creative and dynamic space for experimentation, expression and engineering the sound of drums.

Drums are not easy to record and more than often most engineers fail to appreciate how a drum works as a musical instrument.

I experiment with all types and combinations of shells, heads, rims and microphones in order to find the right timbre in any shell or combination shell and heads.

Having the studio also offers my students the opportunity to practice, experience and learn the art of recording drums and music which is very different from that of playing live.
